It’s a decade-long relationship with Ben Immanuel and the entire Haven community that makes Tom’s approach to teaching so special. He follows Ben’s teachings, tempered by years of professional experience. With credits ranging from series regular to lead, he brings the confidence and insight of a seasoned pro to every scene. He approaches each one with the same tenacity—whether it’s for a class performance or a network TV show. It’s always about diving into the truth of the character and bringing real people to life from the page.

 

Son of visual artist David Stevens and writer Diane Stevens (née Ried), Tom was always encouraged to nurture his creativity and began playing music and writing songs at a young age. He graduated from Douglas College with several indie credits under his belt and began his pursuit of the film and TV industry professionally. Since then, he has garnered over 40 credits, along with six nominations and a Leo win.
