RYAN DOHERTY

RYAN DOHERTY is an actor, Theatre Arts Major, and Peer Support Worker for artists. Ryan has been acting and performing for over ten years across North America’s top cities for artists, including Montreal and Vancouver. Ryan specializes in voice acting and embodying characters with eccentric personalities.  Ryan trained at the Dawson Professional Theatre Program in Montreal and went on to star in three consecutive productions, including Bengal Tiger At the Baghdad Zoo, by Rajiv Joseph, Den Of Thieves, by Stephen Adly, Guirgis, and Fuddy Meers, by David Lindsay-Abaire. While continuing to star in theatre productions like Punk Rock by Simon Stephens, Ryan was cast in TV shows, including Bellevue, Fatal Vows, and a short film titled, Touched, directed by Karl R Hearne. With a commitment to development, Ryan continued participating in workshops, including Scene Study with Tom Todoroff, On-Camera Auditioning with Lewis Baumander, and Voice Over Animation at Syllables in Montreal. In Vancouver, Ryan joined the dynamic community at Haven Studio’s Zoom Scene Study and enrolled in classes at On The Mic to master the art of voice acting.

Ryan’s dedication and passion for improving mental health led him to work as a Peer Support Worker, where he runs a support group dedicated to helping artists overcome their individual and shared struggles.
