David’s approach to improv starts with curiosity. Discovery is the objective. Accepting what’s presented and building on it is the avenue David walks with his impulses and others. Nothing is more exciting and thrilling than the “Yes, and…” mentality.

David is an award-winning professional comedian touring across Canada and the United States. He is a University of Western Ontario graduate with a bachelor of education degree and loves teaching the improv skill set for corporate settings, leadership, and for people who want to improve their communication skills and feel more confident. Improv is a powerful tool that can be utilized in many situations and the results are always impressive.

A Vancouver TheatreSports League and Second City Alumni, David has performed in 1000’s of shows and international festivals. Currently, David tours his improvised musical comedy act, Citizen Hurricane. He studied at the Vancouver Film School, with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, and worked extensively with Keith Johnstone, one of the pioneers of improv from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
